Seasonal Romances | Christmas 2022 TBR

December 1, 2022November 30, 2022 Always Reading Romance1 Comment

As I said on Tuesday, I'm terrible at sticking to TBR's but these are some festive books I would like to read over Christmas. I'm not expecting to get through all of the books I want to read this month, but I'd be really happy with reading at least three of these. Pretty hard to… Continue reading Seasonal Romances | Christmas 2022 TBR

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Finished Ruby Fever by Ilona Andrews last night and loved it! This series gets more urban fantasy than PNR with each book. I felt like this one read like a superhero movie. There was so much action the romance took a backseat but it was still an awesome book. Andrews are great at writing fast-paced action-packed UF. This book has also gotten me pretty excited for Arabella's story. Happy book birthday to this absolute gem of a book ❤️❤️❤️ It was such a pleasure to read and I was genuinely sad to finish it. I look forward to my reread 😁 My full review will be up on my blog later today. I absolutely loved The Other Half of the Grave by Jeaniene Frost. Bones is very high up on my list of book boyfriends. I will admit, though, I didn't like Night Huntress so much the first time I read it. Freaking loved it after a reread and with each subsequent book. The Other Half of the Grave retells book 1 from Bones' point of view. It was so delicious to see what he was thinking throughout the books events. My only issue was that we don't get much character growth since Bones is already well developed and he wasn't present for some of the books more interesting events. But as a POV book this is awesome. 📘 Books I Binge Read with Blue Covers 💙 Still don't have the words to express how much I loved this book 😍😍😍 I'm probably going to reread it on my holidays in two weeks so hopefully after that I'll have a review up. I finished this amazing book yesterday from @reidromance I'm currently trying to stop myself from reading it again straight away! I'm making due with reading my annotations while I work on my review for my blog 😂 Seriously though, I absolutely adored this book ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Just finished Second First Impressions by @sallythorneauthor It was such a sweet & charming romance 😍 I'll have a full review on my blog soon March wrap up 📚 I adored this friends to lovers contemporary romance. It gave me all the warm fuzzies without ever crossing the line into cheesy. Poppy and Alex’s relationship is explored and expanded in a way that feels more realistic than most other friends to lovers stories I’ve read. They truly were friends and lived their lives without one of them secretly pining for the other until their relationship grew into something more. They definitely always loved one another but it was an enduring love that was such a joy to read.
